Hello, My name is James DeCoux, candidate for Collin County Constable Pct 3 . I am a 12 year Texas Peace Officer the majority of which I have served as a deputy constable.
Additionally, I served 8 years proudly in the United States Air
Force with a tour during operation Desert Storm.
I believe that being a constable is
primarily about working with people to ensure public safety through crime prevention and law enforcement. Police work requires
that a constable be able to build relationships in the community, showing sensitivity to and concern for the needs of people from all races, cultures and backgrounds.
One of the goals of my
administration will be to reflect the diversity of the communities served. This enables the staff of the constable's
office to continually improve their capability to deliver service that is effective and responsive to the needs of the
community.
